Jacksonville Mayoral candidate, Lenny Curry, has been picking up some big name endorsements in the last few weeks. He is challenging incumbent Democratic, Alvin Brown.
I can tell you from experience it is not always easy to get endorsements and candidates need to meet certain criteria to get them. In the past I have even seen endorsements from elected officials and political personalities backfiring but in Lenny Curry’s case it looks like he in on the right track.Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) endorsed Curry today stating:
Today I am proud to announce my endorsement for Lenny Curry as the next Mayor of Jacksonville. Over the years I have built a strong relationship with Lenny and I admire his conservative principles and passion for his community. As a small business owner and job creator, Lenny understands the American Dream and knows firsthand what it is going to take to restore that dream for Jacksonville’s citizens and empower people to be more successful. This is why he has my support and why we need Lenny to be Jacksonville’s next Mayor.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Just yesterday Curry picked up and endorsement from Texas Governor, Rick Perry, and prior to that he received a controversial nod from Jacksonville Sheriff John Rutherford.
Since deciding to run, Curry has broke some local fundraising records, taking in more than $1 million in donations. As a tax paying resident of Jacksonville I can tell you word on the street is: Jacksonville is going broke. If Curry is elected I look forward to a fresh perspective and hopefully he can lead the city in the right direction.
