In a way I agree with Senator Lindsey “Grahamnesty” Graham, in that the recent House GOP report concluding that there was no intelligence lapses related to the Benghazi terror attacks, was “full of crap,” and pretty much let the CIA of the hook.
Graham appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” where he said that congressional investigators did a “lousy job” with their investigation of the 2012 terrorist attacks in Libya.
The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence report released late Friday concluded the CIA and the military acted properly in responding to the 2012 attack on a U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya. The report also found no wrongdoing by Obama administration officials, no delay in sending a CIA rescue team, no missed opportunity for a military rescue and no evidence the CIA was covertly shipping arms from Libya to Syria.
“This report puts all the blame on the State Department and absolves the intelligence community,” Graham said.-Fox News
Graham brings up a great point in that the sources the House investigators used were “former CIA Deputy Director Mike Morell and other members of the intelligence community who have already misled Congress.”take our poll - story continues belowDo you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)

So, who exactly called the shots that fateful night in Benghazi? Was the CIA shutdown by the Obama administration, leaving them blameless?
You are not going to convince me or any other level-headed American that the U.S. military could not have sent in Special Operations units to drop into Benghazi, and at the very least, put an end to the attack. The U.S. military has plans in place for every possible military scenario, including such an attack on any sovereign U.S. grounds, which would include embassies and consulates.
Last year a U.S. military operator divulged to Fox News what we all suspected.
Here is the excerpt from the Benghazi story:
“I know for a fact that C-110, the EUCOM CIF, was doing a training exercise in … not in the region of North Africa, but in Europe,” the operator told Fox News’ Adam Housley. “And they had the ability to act and to respond.”
The C-110 is a 40-man Special Ops force capable of rapid response and deployment specifically trained for incidents like last year’s attack in Benghazi. During the night of the Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Libya, in which U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed in Libya, the C-110 were training in Croatia, just 3 ½ hours away.-Fox News
“You know, it’s something that’s risky, especially in our line of profession, to say anything about, anything in the realm of politics, or that deals with policy.”

So the blame appears to fall squarely onto the shoulders of the State Department, and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
I suspect that if (when) Hillary Clinton announces for presidential candidacy, Republicans will be offering her a daily serving of Benghazi.
Clinton will be Benghazied. There, I just coined that term.
