After concluding a press conference with several other Republican governor’s and governor-elect, Christie at the annual Republicans Governor’s Association meeting in Boca Raton, Florida, Florida Governor Rick Scott was asked to opine on the imminent executive action on immigration reform President Obama is expected take.
After being pressed to comment on the possible 1 million illegal immigrants that are living in the state and would benefit from Obama’s executive amnesty, Scott repeatedly said that he would wait and see what the President does, “if he does anything” at all.We haven’t seen anything. We don’t know for sure if he will do anything. We have to wait and see what happens.-Gov. Rick Scott
Scott says he believes in legal immigration and “wants to see people comply with the law,” adding that what he wants to do for Florida is give immigrants from the chance to “live the American dream.”
