There is a little known group called Muslims for Ferguson who are on site in Ferguson, Missouri and ready for the grand jury’s announcement in the Michael Brown case. They are gearing up to protest which has law officers ready for a battle.
They are getting involved to also protest the killing of a radical Islamic teen in 2009 during an FBI raid. The FBI said the radical teen was a separatist whose intent was to overthrow the U.S. Government. In a sense they are bootlegging the event by saying the radical Islamic teen, Imam Luqman Ameen Abudallah, and Michael Brown were both African-American victims of police targeting. While they say they are going to Ferguson to protest Michael Brown’s death others argue they are just going there to push their radical Muslim agenda. The executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Michigan Chapter, Dawad Walid, even went so far as to say Brown was a Muslim but when Fox News questioned him about it he recanted and said he never made such a statement.
On the November 17, 2014, Muslims for Ferguson Facebook page it gives instructions how to join a conference call that was happening that evening and listed what they were going to cover on the call. That list included: how to be prepared on the ground, messaging points that can be used after the grand jury announcement and actions that can be taken to do local solidarity actions in your community.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Part of the conference call was an argument that black and Latino’s should look to Muslims because they are the “gatekeepers of policing.” They also said justice could not be found in courtrooms, it could only be found on the streets.
When the grand jury verdict is determined, CAIR plans to be there front and center in Ferguson to make sure their voices are heard.* The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is very active and we have covered them extensively. Check out our previous articles involving the group HERE.
