Another tragic college campus shooting has taken place at the small Christian Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, Washington, but this time a brave student pounced on the assailant before he could do anymore harm.
The shooter, 26-year-old Aaron Ybarra, was pepper sprayed then tackled by a student, before other students helped pin him down before police arrived. Unfortunately, Ybarra managed to kill one person, and injure three others.Seattle police said at an afternoon press conference that the shooter entered a campus building with a shotgun and shot three students before he was pepper-sprayed by the monitor.
Harborview Medical Center spokeswoman Susan Gregg said a 19-year-old man died, and a 20-year-old woman was in surgery with critical injuries. Gregg had no additional information on the man who died, and said two other victims, a 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old man, were in satisfactory condition.

Unfortunately, we can expect the anti-gun lobby and their cohorts in the U.S. Congress to revive the gun debate in an election year that Democrats are expected to underperform in.
