DC Republicans Converge on Florida To Conspire Against Conservatives

The Republican leadership in Congress will be holding a fundraising retreat the weekend of April 11 to benefit the George Soros supported Republican Mainstreet Partnership PAC.

There you have it. The Republican establishment in Washington, D.C., is in bed with George Soros and his many Socialist interests.

As the left-wing Talking Points Memo reported a month ago, LaTourette and his Main Street Partnership have created an affiliated SuperPAC called “Defending Main Street PAC.” Along with the Chamber of Commerce and Republican Leaders, the Main Street Partnership wants to take out troublesome conservatives-Erick Erickson, Redstate

Syndicated columnist and author, Brent Bozell, has exposed the upcoming meeting on Amelia Island, Florida, in a press release from his newly-formed “For America” 501(c)4 organization.

“Having the GOP leadership headline an event for a left wing organization funded by George Soros and Big Labor Unions, with a stated mission to destroy the conservative movement is stunning. The Republican Mainstreet Partnership PAC makes no bones about it.

Their stated goal is to ‘bolster our incumbents who are under attack from the far right, and ensure that we hold on to seats represented by pragmatic Republicans that we would otherwise loose [sic] if there was an ultra-conservative in the general runoff.’ And at their upcoming meeting on the ultra-exclusive Amelia Island in Florida, their announced headliners are GOP Speaker John Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Whip Kevin McCarthy.

“These men, who claim to be ‘leaders’ of the Republican Party, know what they’re doing. They’ve joined forces with left-wing billionaires like George Soros against their own base. What they don’t seem to understand, however, is that they’re committing political suicide. It’s just a shame they are dragging down the entire Republican Party with them. Frankly, this is what the GOP deserves with leaders like these.-Brent Bozell, For America

During a recent phone interview with the Shark Tank, Bozell reminds the Republican Party poobahs that if it wasn’t for the Tea Party in the 2010 House elections, they would still be under the leadership of liberal Democrat Representative Nancy Pelosi.

These people would not be in the majority but for the Tea Party…The only thing, that is of a positive nature since about 2004, is the 2010 House elections where they won the majority, because of the Tea Party. -Brent Bozell

Bozell added that the “establishment Republicans in Washington, D.C., are openly declaring war on what they call the Tea Party,” adding that ” there is no difference between Tea party and conservatives.”

“They are declaring war on conservatives.”-Brent Bozell

But this move to purge conservatives from the Republican Party is nothing new.

Remember back when the same arguments were being made by the moderate wing of the GOP against that “radical” Ronald Reagan?

And like Bozell says,” The moment that Ronald Reagan won, they all became great conservatives.”

The same could be said with the 2010 and 2012 Senate wins by Rubio, Cruz, Lee, and Paul, who were quickly labeled “Whacko Birds” for not conforming to the establishment’s way of legislating.

The “Whacko Bird” Senate squadron of Marco Rubio, Cruz, Lee and Rand Paul has taken off.

Just to rub some more political salt into wounds of those dastardly establishment Republicans, Bozell points out “how well the moderates” have done in the recent losing elections of 2006 and 2012

In the 2012 campaign for instance, Bozell says that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell “knee-capped the defund effort” by “stabbing Ted Cruz and Mike Lee in the back,” when he punted on Obamacare, and went out of his way with other like-minded Republican Senators marginalize them.

McConnell, McCain, Cornyn, and others in the Senate, supported the Charlie Crist-type moderate candidates against the “Whackos” in 2010 and 2012m and even “went out of their way to destroy” them, just so that they would be able to control the left-leaning GOP message coming out of the U.S. Senate.

This is so wrong (not that I didn’t already know that Boehner, McCain, Cantor, and the rest of the RINO’s are idiots) but to line up with George Soros? Glenn Beck must be having nightmares!

  • SURPRISED?

Isn’t it fascinating to watch when the masks come off? They are unveiling their upcoming war, not against voters they disagree with, but with the principles those voters represent. Biblical principles. This is a spiritual war cloaked as a “political battle”. Republicans are simply going public with the unveiling of their deep incestuous relationship with the same powers that control the democrat party. The same powers that wrote Obamacare, word by word, line by line. The puppet masters are declaring war on Christians, and cloaking it around a phony, baloney political war against “conservatives”.

I believe we’ve seen this movie already a time or two.
Brent is a fearless fighter who’s been in the trenches for quite a while now keeping the flag flying high.
The ruling class republicans are a bunch of cowardly self indulgent parasites. They know they can not win the debate on ideas and specifically on their pathetic record, so they, much like a cornered rat, must strike out at the threat. It is a shame that their vision is so impaired that all they see is a threat to Their Power. They only care about Power or specifically More Power. They are soulless creatures sucking the Republic dry.

I really enjoy going to Amelia Island it is a very relaxing peaceful place. How long will it be before the stain and stench these slugs leave behind has been disinfected and removed so it will be safe for normal humans again?
It’s bad enough to know that Boehner will be regularly infecting Marco with his presence. These lizards need to stay inside the beltway. There ought a be a law!

Brent Bozell is just as, if not more unethical than the people he criticizes. He tricks people into giving him money and then spends it on himself and his cronies.

Check out this huge house that he bought for his #2 with MRC funds:

This is a confirmed true story and not a rumor.

Rubio is no conservative. He will side with the Boehner, Cantor, Graham and McCain wing everytime.

I for one welcome the fight between real conservatives and the RINO sellouts. I can never forget how the Party establishment ruined the Reagan Revolution and forced the Bushies on America. As a result we also got the Clintons and Obama. The RINO’s have blood on their hands, but we shall see if our people down in Florida are shallow enough to listen to their siren call and follow like lemmings.

  • Joel Miller

This article is right on the money regarding the Tea Party Movement representing REAL conservatism in America today because it sure isn’t the Republican Party! John ‘Boner’ the King of RINO’s and George Soros, wow, I had no idea that they were that far left, wow!
Maybe Republican ‘voters’ will finally figure out what the rest of us have known for some time now which is… if you want conservatism in Government vote for Tea Party candidates.

I see a picture and a list of names from the Soros event but that doesn’t necessarily mean that those folks are going to show for the fund raiser. It is not uncommon for various groups to list names, show pictures, etc so as to attract or attack the opposition. Bozell’s organization prided itself on reporting the truth and showing how far off the mainstream media was. Of late he seems to being doing what the mainstream does; a lot of spinning. In this case I want to know that the folks he is accusing of being invited, accusing that they will attend, actually do attend and then what happens at the event. Dividing the Republican Party by any side is just plain stupid coming to the next two elections but especially this midterm. Legislative politics is ALL about which party has the majority, not which group is politically pure. I guarantee if you put ten conservatives in a room they will not all agree 100% on even the big issues. For example, how many good conservatives are libertarian? If the Republicans break Reagan’s eleventh commandment, most especially conservatives, then we will have blown the opportunity to return our country to its founding principles. Let us regain the majorities and expand them first. Even RHINOs are far closer to the center-right than 90% of the Democrats in Washington.

      Really?

Where was all the RINO help during the “shutdown” and Obamacare repeal efforts?????????????????????

And vote for cloture, then vote against the bill? There are about thirty RINO senators that don’t deserve their allotment of air!

    • G Speed

Our best bet to regain our country is to blow the phony RINO Republicans out of the process. Let the Republican party leadership go to hell–They’re just a rubber stamp for progressive collectivist statist Democrats anyway.

By the way that old Rodney King crap is worn out– why don’t the Republicans help out the Tea Party types that are already in DC?

  • C T Vivian

Also the dirtbag LaTourette! There were dS with higher Heritage scores.

  • Carlos

Regardless of R or D, any politician who impedes a candidate or colleague trying to save this dying nation is a TRAITOR! As for the RINO progressives, if we don’t purge the GOP of their cancerous inlfuence, we will lose many more elections and eventually the nation.

  • geoffharvard

The whacko bird tea party activists should show up on Amelia Island at the entrance to the resort hotel where this Soros meeting will take place with their hand made signs and kids just as they did on the Washington mall.

  • Florida Native

Oh,you true conservatives now know what must be done in November.RINOS marching in lock step with Obummer’s puppet master will have too GO.
