The GOP special primary race in FL-CD 19 will be decided on April 22, and the top three candidates in the race, Lizebeth Benacquisto, Curt Clawson, and Paige Kreegel, have all launched both TV and radio ads to help bolster their chances of prevailing on election night.
In Kreegel’s first TV ad, the former state representative lets his wife Erika tell voters that he husband can be trusted with their votes and children.
“For over 20 years, Paige has never let me down… “You can trust him with your vote, and our children’s future.”-Paige Kreegel TV ad
Kreegel’s ad is somewhat of a relief for voters in Southwest Florida, who are intoxicated with the continuous blitz of negative ads that have taken over the race.
Clawson has also released a family-related video of his own, which features his mother. Click here.
But state Senator has not release a family ad of her own (not that she has to). Some speculate that if she did, the TV ad would not include her husband, former Democrat bundler and donor, Bruce Strayhorn, who was part of Team Hillary, and later on Team Obama in 2008.
If Benacquisto would release an ad featuring her husband Strayhorn, she would surely open herself up to an attack about her husband’s possible political influence on her.
