This is not the first time DeSantis has stuck it to President Obama. Earlier this year, DeSantis introduced a bill that passed in the House, which overturning one of Obama’s executive orders. The freshman congressman also introduced another bill that forced Obama and Congress to enroll into the Obamacare exchanges.

As I have advocated for decades, EVERYONE should be on enrolled in Social Security and Medicare, including of course ALL government employees at all levels of government. No alterative plans for elected officials, civil service employees, etc. etc. No more pensions for elected officials after 6 or 8 or 10 or even 20 years; except for the military. They are unique and none of us have a quarrel with the military. However all taxpayers who are not government employees have an serious issue with government employees with excessively high salaries that can run twice as much or more for comparable jobs in the private sector and pension plans that pay 50-80 percent of their salary in effect when they retire; including medical coverage up to 100% of cost. The Republicans are no better than the Democrats when it comes to promoting this abusive use of taxpayer money.

I couldn’t agree more. What is it with those who pass laws somehow are exempted from them.
