Rep. Joe Garcia/ The Shark Tank

Embattle Florida Congressman Joe Garcia (D), referred to the so called, “Tea Party extremists” of the Republican-led House of Representatives, and the ‘outside powers’ that influence them, as the “Taliban.”

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the name-calling and fear mongering continues to spew from the left side of the aisle.

Garcia made the remark during his speech on the floor of the House, where he railed against Republicans who where in favor of defunding and repealing the Obamacare law.

“The time has come to put these guys aside,” Garcia said, reading his remarks. “We just need our colleagues to step up, push aside these extremist elements, this Taliban.”-Miami Herald

This POS can go pound sand! I have been fighting the Taliban for the past ten years, and this clueless asshat doesn’t have and ounce of courage to call me that to my face! These out of touch elitists need to be banished from public service

  • MotherBatherick

There is nothing more annoying, offensive and digressive than a dimwitted Liberal Democrat. Especially the ones who look like one of those toy dolls that have a little pull string in the back and repeat things with a frozen smile on their face.

    • Rich

Ma’am, how do you feel constantly repeating the talking points you get from Faux News and the other right wing BS outlets?
It’s time you folks got with the program and stand with working Americans against the ultra wealthy and corporations. Are you eager to be under the thumb of the ultra wealthy?
Please explain, in detail and without attempting to insult my intelligence, if you can.

      • FLMom98

Hey Rich- In case you haven’t noticed many of those ultra wealthy and corporations (run by the ultra wealthy) are Democrat shills. Bill Gates (Microsoft), Jeffrey Immelt (GE), Oprah Winfrey (HARPO/OWN), Al Gore, Warren Buffet (who owes millions in taxes and fighting it in court while telling us to pay more), Goldman Saks and their higher ups — just to name a few. It is tiring that the left repeatedly uses personal attacks against anyone they don’t agree with, especially because they usually have no facts to back it up. I know, I know, the right has done it too – but not nearly to the degree the left does. And I will be clear – calling someone a socialist (a philosophy) is equivalent to calling someone a conservative (also a philosophy). Calling someone the Taliban, Terrorist, Extremist is despicable, especially when our young men and women are laying down their lives against those people. And by the way, if the Democrats keep getting there way, there will be fewer and fewer of those “working Americans” that you are so concerned about!

        • Rich

Madam, please, who am I personally attacking?
Virtually all of big business is using the tax laws, which they paid to have modify using lobbyists and campaign donations/bribes to shelter money from being taxed that you and I cannot.
Of course I’ve notices this. What is necessary is to REMOVE the money from politics so the politicians will do the will of the PEOPLE instead of the will of those who donate to/bribe them. Simple enough?
Tax laws need to be made fair and no money earned by a company doing business in America should be able to be sheltered from taxation.
Working Americans are growing scarce simple because our various “Fair Trade Acts” are nothing but the sort because they remove the protection for American jobs that tariffs provide, if you understand how the tariff laws were supposed to be applied.

Rich, thanks for showing up on this site to pratice your comedy routine!!
I try to catch your standup routine, but its always sold out. So are you here just trying out new material here?
We really do enjoy when you show your uber intelligence here on the site, I guess that is what makes you in such demand as a comedian. Wonderfull act!!!
Please go on, we really do need the humor!!

        • Rich

Well, see, if you were really using your head, you would be scared to death because I am correct and you and your teabagger buddies are gleefully selling hard working, tax paying middle class Americans out to big business and the ultra-wealthy.
If you believe that what I post is funny, I wonder how you will enjoy it when you have to work in a Koch Brothers owned sweat shop??

          • Rabelrouser

            Go on, Tell us more!!!!!

          • Paul

            Rich,

Let me try to educate you on wealth. If all the money in the US was redistributed to all people, let’s say we’d all be millionaires (woo hoo!). Within 5 to 10 years time all this money would be right back in the hands of the same wealthy smart people you took it from. Why? Because the stupid people spend and waste their money while the smart people save and invest, thus creating more wealth. The bottom line is: you can’t fix stupid! Get it, now?

Rich, fear not –she couldn’t insult your intelligence. How could she find it? You leave no clues.

        • Rich

Sir, I have no clues but YOU support policies that will allow for the wealthiest Americas to form a virtual aristocracy and allow them to take a massive dump on the heads of hard working, tax paying, middle class Americans.

          • Rabelrouser

Would those be the same wealthy business men that met yesterday with the boy king to formulate plans to bring the stock markets down to hurt the people to scare them into telling their reps to obey the king?
            Do tell!

          • kerijay

And you support taking the country down by design.

          • Paul

Rich, why do you think the wealthy gets all the breaks from government? The same socialist government you support is in bed with them and pays them off at your/our expanse! Why aren’t you screaming at your socialist party for giving them the breaks? The enemy is not the wealthy, the poor, the liberals or the conservatives; the enemy is our own government! You need to join with the people of our nation instead of political parties!

          • lowie

Redistribution of others income is not the answer Rich. The way it’s done HERE is to work and pay just enough taxes to support a limited government as stated in our Constitution and for the rest to stay in the pockets of those who WORK to advance themselves by saving and investing. When you figure only 40% of our population has a job,
that reduces the amount of tax dollars needed to support a “bloated” federal government. It has now become apparent that without more people working in our corporations, large and small, our system will collapse. It’s my view that this president, his staff, and all his appointees have steered this shutdown to do just that. The House of Representative are trying to fund only the parts of the government that are essential then the debate of whether to borrow or print more money to continue the upward spiral of deficits and debt. Do you ever wonder why in the sixties most new cars cost $3000 and today the cost $30,000 and up. It’s caused by continuing to raise the debt ceiling stupid!

      • MotherBatherick

Hey Poor One, your envy is showing..

      • Paul

        Rich,

Do you mean the same 1% that you and the democraps constantly bash? I am sure you don’t mean the same wealthy people and corporations that your party gave a break to from Obummercare, right? Government and the 1% gets a break from Obummercare while you and I have it shoved down our throats. That is supposed to make sense to me, right? You are SSOOOO smart.

Don’t be too hard on Rep Garcia. He’s just reading his talking points from Pelosi. Doubtful he even knows what Taliban is. Check out his voting record: http://heritageactionscorecard.com/members/member/G000573
    party line all the way.

  • pa

Maybe we’re all just misunderstanding what the Dems mean. You know the way they like to use different meanings for words, meanings that don’t match up with a word’s ordinarily understood definition.

So look at two headlines on shark-tank today:
    http://shark-tank.net/2013/10/02/islam-honored-in-washington-with-americas-islamic-heritage-month/
    http://shark-tank.net/2013/10/01/democratic-congressman-calls-gop-extremists-the-taliban/

At first glance, these headlines appear to present quite a contrast. The first shows how much the left admires Islamists, but the second appears to condemn Islamists. But maybe, just maybe, comparing the GOP with the taliban is actually a compliment! You remember Orwell’s doublethink party slogans in his book “1984”: War Is Peace, Freedom Is Slavery, and Ignorance Is Strength. Perhaps Dems today are just using a new doublethink slogan: Enemy Is Friend.

I had no idea that America even had an Islamic Heritage Month. At first glance I would disapprove, but now that I recognize the doublethink method in action, I can see that honoring Islam is really honoring traditional American values of the kind that conservatives admire. So when the Dems say the GOP = Taliban, in their eyes that’s high praise indeed. We who find the comparison objectionable just don’t understand how to talk doublethink. I guess.

That’s the only interpretation that could possibly make any sense.

Why is this POS not being prosecuted for voter fraud? Give his lackey immunity so he can spill the beans and bury Garcia.

  • Stan Lee

Obviously, he’s trying to give us “A message from Garcia.” What a guy, Socialista al terminal.
I’m looking forward to Joe receiving tons of phone-calls from his constituents complaining “Hey, this “gov’t” health care ain’t free! And, didn’t you say it would be inexpensive? Oh, I see, you didn’t define “inexpensive.”
I’m sure his constituents will forgive his falseness. He was only trying to get votes, the poor guy.

What socialist idiots like “Rich” fail to see is that the radical anti-Americans reside in the Democrap party. JFK would roll over in his grave if he knew the level of socialist, left-wing bungling had taken over his party.
