Will Charlie Crist’s Union Thugs Back His Probable Gubernatorial Run?

By Javier Manjarres

Crist on Palin as PresidentWord around the state is that former Republican turned Independent and now Democrat Charlie Crist could be in position to defeat Florida Governor Rick Scott in next year’s gubernatorial general election- assuming of course that Crist will actually decide to run for the job and make it through a difficult Democrat primary.

Scott’s approval ratings are down- in fact, they’re way down- even as he’s been focused on fulfilling his primary campaign promise of creating jobs and doing so admirably against the headwinds of the federal government’s failed economic policies. If Florida’s economy continues to improve, Scott’s re-election chances will improve considerably- but no one can discount “the tan man” and his chances for returning to the governor’s mansion.  He is still somewhat popular, even among the moderate wing of the Republican party, in spite of the fact that he turned his back on them in a losing effort against now Senator Marco Rubio in 2010.

Crist has already been lining up his supporters including Florida State Senator Jack “my chance to be Senate President went down the toilet” Latvala as well as other very shady individuals who come from his neck of the woods in the Tampa Bay area.

Crist could also get some much needed support and muscle from a couple of his “pipefitting’ boys, Bubba and Cletus who have already proven their muscle and talent for ‘man-handling’ anyone who might have some questions for the former Governor.

Do you all remember Bubba and Cletus from the AFL-CIO picnic back in 2010?  I, El Sharko, covered the event where his political director at the time, Michelle Todd just happened to point me out to these two thugs, prompting them to accost me with ‘Charlie Crist for Senate’ yard signs.  If Crist runs, it’s almost certain that Teamsters will join in the fun and offer us all some much needed comic relief like they did back in 2010.

But things got a bit choppy at Crest’s Q&A session with the press, where yours truly, Maha-Sharkie was assaulted and harassed by two of the local Teamster’s thugs.  Bubba and Cletus bum-rushed El Sharko and the camera, but what wasn’t caught on camera was an innocent young girl who was run over by these thugs as they attempted to shut down El Sharko.

I tried to make Cletus understand that he was embarrassing the Governor, but apparently he did not understand the English that was proceeding from my mouth.  I do speak several languages including Spanish, English and Shark-ish, but if im going to stay on the trail with the Crist Campaign, I think I’m going to need to learn how to speak “Deliverance.”

Watch the video, and pay attention to Charlie’s reaction to me getting struck multiple times, it is priceless!

Excuse me, but you need to explain how, if Mr. Obama’s economic policies are such a “failure”, then why is the Dow-Jones average back up to over 14,000 points?
Why are corporate profits at record highs?
Why are the most wealthy among us accumulating more wealth at a record pace?
Drop the talking points and look around you.
What’s plaguing the economy is the income equality issue that you should be addressing more regularly.
    Please quit knocking unions.
Please tell us if there were no more unions, who would speak for the hard working, tax paying middle class American worker? As imperfect as the unions system might be, it sure beats the alternatives.
Who can argue against good wages, high quality health care and a pension that your employer can’t steal like Willard Romney used to do??

You need take Economics 101. Have you heard of “cyclical” changes.

Obama has done nothing but created fear, uncertainty and stagflation.

Gov. Romney was my governor for whom I voted. Romney actually kept ALL his campaign promises to reduce spending, waste and fraud, and the neverending entitlement programs that liberals love to fund with taxpayer dollars. Romney has more skill and class rhan Obama could ever dream of having.

Excuse me, Lauren, but it seems that the republicans/conservatives/teabaggers are the ones you should be accusing.
Their party before country policy of working towards making Mr. Obama a one term President is the cause of the troubles you cite.

Rich: Which planet are you from? You are living in a dream world. Do some research and don’t just spew the same old game that your Socialists/Marx/Progressives are saying.

  • Charlie the Job Chopper

Charlie Crist will have many union thugs and their strongarm tactics at his disposal. He will likely also have John (For the People) Morgan’s bucks to get out his message. But Rick Scott will defeat them. Rick grew the jobs lost under the regimes of Crist and Obama.

    HOLD IT !
The Unions are the lesser of 2 evils.. Charlie Corrupt has taken money from the Colombian Cali Cartel..
I keep telling people this and NO ONE has ever reported , Go back to his previous Campaign donations and it’s right there, Richard Spence and Alva Market, Total amount was $500,000.00 ..
I wish someone would pay attention and report it besides me …

He surely will have the backing of L&Gs Unions and Clubs

The last one we need for governor is chameleon charlie in Florida. Let him go somewhere else because even if people are stingy about admitting that Rick Scott is doing a good job compared to charlie, the records will still speak for themselves.

There must be a reason why the states with Republican governors have balanced budgets and increasing job opportunities. The “lure” of anything concerning unions is going down the toilet. At one time, unions were a good thing, protecting the workers. Today, most of them are merely bunches of goons who resort to beatings and intimidation to get their way. Their leaders steal millions of dollars from dues which are taken out of workers’ paychecks. There are laws in place which protect workers and unions are feeling the unimportance of their existence. Like most liberal factions today, they are panicky because the people are beginning to see them for what they are—liars and goons.
