President Obama’s Gaffe While Taking Oath Of Office

By Javier Manjarres

obama oathMillions of American witnessed President Obama take the Oath of Office on the steps the Capitol, yet no one is really talking about the President’s gaffe while he recited the oath being read to him by Chief Justice John Roberts.

When repeating the words,”I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States,” Obama got a bit tongue-tied, or perhaps zoned out for a split second, when he said, “State” instead of  “States.” Was it intentional? Does he mean that he sees the country as being a ‘United State’ and not the United States?

These things happen to all of us. Remember in 2008, Chief Justice Roberts completely screwed fumbled the same Oath he administered to then Senator Barack Obama.

Why are you worried about singular/plural with a word? Is it because you can say nothing good about the president so you pick one word out of thousands.

Ummm… it’s called a Freudian slip. That’s where your subconscious or true feelings are revealed through a seemingly benign mis-statement. So yes, one word can reveal alot. Why are progressives so anti-science?

That fact that he said “state” instead of “states” stuck out like a sore thumb becase BHO whistles like a teapot when pronouncing words that end in “s”.

I’m also struggling to find one good thing to say about this POTUS beyound the fact that he efficiently converts oxygen into carbon dioxide. Can ya help me out on that?

Nothing even remotely totalitarian would surprise me, coming from Obama. It was probably a Freudian slip, even though he tries to convince us a 51% win is a mandate and he can let loose now. As for a gaffe, the entire Barry debacle is one huge, embarrassing gaffe on the part of a stupid, lazy nation.

I sincerely thank God that there are term limits for the presidency. Can you imagine what our country would be like if Obama had a third term. Thought, if Biden ever won, Obama would be steering all decisions.

You are disgusting. The GOP is one gigantic gaffe

Liberals still cannot accept the fact that Obama is a lying, wimpy socialist who has brought America to the brink of financial ruin and international shame. If we finally fail, all liberals will be equally to blame.

Nothing Happens by “Accident” This certainly can’t be an accident. It provides a lame excuse to have AN(other) oath administered privately.

        • BoGo

With this POTUS, anything is possible. Second terms are all about legacy.

BHO is currently tied with FDR for number of oaths of office taken (4). Who’s to say whether or not this narcissist didn’t want to create a reason to have it administered for the record-breaking 5th time?

Let’s look at what we have learned from our last election:

Twenty-one of 22 incumbent senators were re-elected, and 353 of 373 incumbent members of the House were re-elected. The American people have re-elected 94 percent of the incumbents who were running for re-election to an institution that has an approval rating of about 3 percent.

This indicates, as an electorate, we are a nation of idiots. We’re now stuck with the useless, dysfunctional government and a Marxist usurper for Pres.that we deserve.
